La Nintendo 64 est sortie au Japon le 23 juin 1996, accompagnée de 3 jeux : Pilotwings 64, Saikyou Habu Shougi et Super Mario 64.
Mupen64Plus v2.5.9 pour Windows (Richard42)
Mupen64Plus est un émulateur N64 cross-plateform (Windows, Linux, Mac) fonctionnant en lignes de commandes.

Il est donc recommandé de l'utiliser avec des Front-ends tels que M64Py ou Mupen64Plus-Qt.

Version 2.5.9 :
- This is a Beta release of Mupen64Plus.
- Please help us by testing this software on your platform and reporting bugs to our IRC channel, or Google Group, or Emutalk Forum.
- There have been so many changes since the last release (in 2015), that we decided to make this BETA release and only accept pull requests for bug fixes during the next month or two.
- Then we will make a stable 2.6 release.

- Core: improved PJ64 savestate loading, auto-detect savestate slot type
- Core/Video: support for resizing video window when in windowed mode
- Input: Re-write auto-configuration logic to have more user friendly behavior
- Input: New auto-configurations for 6 controllers
- RSP: Support for JPEG textures used in Pokemon Stadium Japan
- Rice-Video: improve hires texture loading support
- Rice-Video: Build option to support mobile devices by using OpenGL ES 2.0
- Glide64mk2-Video: brand new (for us) video plugin based on Gonetz's 10th anniversary release of Glide64
